Kory Schimanski – Executive Chef
Fresh out of high school as a dishwasher, Kory grew to love the rush of the culinary environment. His years at Clover helped develop a skill-set along with a level-mindedness to match. Kory gives credit to Chef’s he has worked under and their faith in him, for keeping him going in the right direction. In the past decade Kory has worked in four other restaurants and believes Clover is by far where he belongs. The creativity Kory brings to any dish is a testament to the pleasure he finds in working the kitchen. As a result, what comes out of the kitchen lands some rave reviews for the cozy bungalow. Owners Scott & Liz McCandless, “One Plate at a Time”
Scott McCandless has always been involved, has always cared very deeply, and is very interested in hearing what anyone has to say about Clover. It is his baby. Dreamed up by the love and passion he and his wife, Liz, have for food. Together they have spent over 20 years cooking for their own family of eight children and now 13 grandchildren. It’s no surprise, they were encouraged to open a restaurant. Mr. McCandless continues to be most fortunate to find a team of driven and skilled, as well as capable and excelling culinary artists who not only bring his ideas, but also their own to LIFE! Every single dish on the menu is executed with the utmost precision, care and love.
