Ste. Michelle Wine Estates received approval for designation of the newest AVA (American Viticulture Area) in Washington State. Located just off the Columbia River, this region is now known as "The Burn." The first wine to be designated from this region is a Cabernet Sauvignon aptly named "Born of Fire."
